Victoria Police welcomes you to Melbourne, Australia for the inaugural CLIA: Australasian Clandestine Laboratory & Drug Investigators Conference to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from 14 – 18 May 2018.
MCEC is located at 2 Clarendon Street, South Wharf. The MCEC is located at on the banks of the Yarra River with direct access to riverside shopping, dining
and entertainment venues. The Novotel South Wharf is our recommended hotel of choice for our international and interstate presenters and guests.
In 2017 Melbourne was voted the most liveable city for the 7th consecutive year and recently voted the ‘Sports City of the Decade’ at the Ultimate Sports City awards in Switzerland. Melbourne hosts the Australian Open Tennis, Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix and Moto Grand Prix as well as the 156-year-old Melbourne Cup Horse race. Melbourne is also home to the Australian Football League where you will be able to catch a game when you arrive in May.
The cost of the conference is $400 per person – ‘early bird’ price until 31 March, after this date price will be $450 per person.
There will also be opportunities at the completion of each day to mix with other attendees and speak directly with our Vendors and Sponsors.
